Try the "lemon thing" and see if it works. Squeeze 2 lemons into about 8 oz of water; drink it. It you aren't better in 4 hours, repeat the process. That calms some of us and we use it occasionally when the moods are causing irritation, low feeling tone, or hyperactivity.

The logic behind this is that the lemon, while it tastes very acidic and it is a citric
acid fruit, is digested as being very alkaline in its ash. That assists with lowering
the acidic residue of meds and other excessive acids in the tissues and fluids.
Exercise can create acids, just as stress does, in addition to the acidic residue (or
ash) of some foods and all medicaions.

I think it might be helpful for you. I keep a container filled with lemons in my
refrigerator so that I may turn to them whenever I feel the need (based on my feeling tone).

Since you've had a very strong period of exercise, you might want to try them
for a couple of days. That really should do a good job of lowering the acid.

(This is quite different from the ph of the system. That remains within a very narrow margin and is controlled by the brain. The tissues and fluids are very different and
respond to a more alkaline condition.)

Try keeping a slightly more alkaline state. See http://www.alkalinefoods.com or http://www.AcidFoods.com to learn which ones are best for maintaining the slightly alkaline state.

Some physicians believe that a more alkaline state is conducive to health and will help keep us from experiencing many illnesses that can develop from excessive acid.

Hopefully, this will help you, too.
