Hi Triste1: I see by your profile that you're a "little olderit'sm 64, so I'm allot older! I've only been on PsychCentral for a short time. I've messaged several users, with whom I seemed to have something in common, & ended by suggesting that they message me if they wanted to keep in touch. No one has.

So, I'm getting the impression that PsychCentral is pretty anonymous. People start threads & others reply, but at least it appears that longer term relationships are the exception rather than the rule. I don't know if this is true or not. Like I say, I'm new here.

I've been on YouTube for a while now & have developed some "intimate" internet friendships in the process. So, the kind of brief passing encounters that I've experienced here seem unusual to me. And it makes me think that, although I will continue to stop by occasionally, PsychCentral cannot replace YouTube as my primary source of internet activity.

I hope that you do stay with PsychCentral. It appears you haven't been here that long either. Maybe there's more opportunity here than we realize at this point! I would end by saying message me if you want to... but I don't seem to be getting anywhere with that, so I'll just say best wishes. Still...
