I know myself well enough to know that I'd have to freeze it in a way so that I couldn't read the numbers through the ice.

Damn online shopping.
The crappy part is, is that I've been IN this situation before. About 7 years ago I got into MAJOR credit card problems. I took out extra student loan money to pay it off at the time and for a while I didn't have ANY cards for that very reason. A few years ago, when I thought I was "ready" again, I got out a Discover card and Best Buy card. Biggest. Mistake. Ever.
So now I have student loan debt AND credit card debt. Oh... and also stupidly we bought a new car 6 months ago. God. Will I ever learn???
