I'm feeling nervous because I have to go to work this evening and see my ex-friend after sending the text last night that I sort of regret sending. Whatever; I sent it and there's nothing I can do about it. I think I just want to be validated (like, "Oh, I totally miss you and want us to be friends too, blah blah") but I'm not going to get that so I'm using DBT skills (observing, being non-judgmental, etc) to try to ride it out and keep a lid on how I feel.
