Mr Bear is working from home. He is not earning much (yet)

We were just talking briefly (he works most of the time during the day so we don't talk much)

I asked him how to spell grammar.

He said "you should know, as you went to a grammar school, you didn't go to a school for thickies, did you"

No. At the school I went to, people who didn't keep up were booted out or stayed down. And in the streaming in secondary school, I was always in the top stream out of three.

Then I said to Mr Bear, the reason why some people were booted out wasn't necessarily because of cognitive impairments, it could have been attention difficulties.
