hi there!

Have you noticed any other symptoms? any fatigue---not necessarily sleepy, but you just want to rest your body? Weight gain? Muscle cramps? Restless sleep? Joint pain? Headaches?

I ask because I had VERY VERY low vitamin d levels--the avg is about 40 or higher, but mine was 8! I was very achy, had muscle cramps, could not sleep at all, no weight gain bc I was exercising, but the weight wasn't coming off either and I was wondering why. And it even can cause depressive symptoms (so I've been told).

Depression can also cause aches and pains. I've been on anti depressants (celexa and lexapro) and didn't experience aches, but everyone is different.

If you can, go to the doctors and tell him/her your symptoms. I'm sure they will do blood work, but make sure you ask for them to check your vitamin D levels. I was in pain for almost 2 years before they thought to check mine. I've been on a prescription vitamin and have been taking over the counter supplements for the last 6 weeks and i feel soooo much better.

I hope you feel better soon
