I'm glad there are so many caring pet owners out there.

I just thought this good information to post when we are nearing Xmas shopping time. People buy a cute little puppy for junior thinking he will take care of it. That normally never happens and when the cute puppy chews up too many shoes hes not cute anymore so hes shipped off. Disposable family, it always makes me so sad.

The humane society just called me today to see if I would foster a Newfoundland when her time is up (I've fostered a few times before). This girl is 9 months old and over 200 lbs. The owners "didn't know she would get so big", and thought "she looked like a cute little bear cub". Well now she is huge and has never been trained so shes been kicked from the family and sent to a pretty awful place. With the litter of retrievers next to her in a kennel she has no chance there.

All it takes is a little research. So many people do it, but so many people don't.

Sorry for the rant. I just see this happen too much.
