I have AvPD and I like it when other people do the talking because I am not stuck for words. I am not comfortable leading conversation. I never know what to say or what I should or should not ask people and usually end up just telling myself to mind my own business. If somebody else initiates, I don't mind so much because it helps direct the conversation.

Usually, I am more comfortable discussing things less personal such as issues, news, history, interests. However, if people start to ask my personal opinions or feelings, I tend to become more conservative or "politically correct" to avoid hurting anybody or saying the wrong thing. It is not the talking, it is the personalization of topic that makes me nervous.
