I just read your post, it does sound mysterious to have all that knowledge, I would be at a loss to understand or explain away that kind of recall, and this "Watcher" sounds very, dare I say it, yes I dare, "Ethereal"...

Plus the way he co-exists with you, I can see why you would miss that, having someone able to guide and explain so much, after enduring such pain and confusion from abuse. I agree the universe is an awful big place, more than enough room for Wonder...
