And I'm in a lot of pain with my back. Am getting an X-ray tomorrow. My Nurse Practitioner says she can't suggest anything other than Tylenol for it and it just doesn't give me any relieve. When I get, if I get a definite diagnosis I'll ask my psych doc what he suggests. He understands my meds better than my Nurse Practitioner.

Hi Jean,
Personally, I wouldn't put up with those kinds of side effects. Speaking from experience, I have tried so many different antidepressants, you have to be willing try different things. You should listen to your body. I would imagine that your psych meds doc would want you to get off of them if its making you feel sick. But Im not a doctor, and its best to seek professional advice.
I also can empathize with you, being depressed and in other physical pain can be awful, they kind of feed off of eachother, if youre in pain it makes you sad, but then you can be sad because of the pain, overall just frustrated. I had a really painful case of endometriosis that went undiagnosed for a long time. Taking the pain meds can only do so much, so I encourage you to stick with getting your xray checked and see where to go from there. Pain meds just mask the real problem.
Feel better, Hugs,
Lisa
