Don't get me wrong, I love our dog, but it is getting too hard for me to take care of her.

Here's the story:
She is part beagle and part basset hound--and very stubborn and physically "solid." I got her a little over two years ago as a Christmas present for my daughter (who is now 17). The dog was 2--we are her third owners. We haven't been able to have a fence put up, so we've been keeping her as an inside dog--which she was already used to anyway. Well, lately I am the one who has been taking her out and walking her. Sometimes my son helps me but he can't do it all the time. The thing is, she is heavy and stubborn, and I have a real bad back and the doctor has had to get after me because I have actually thrown my back out several times from walking her. My daughter knows this, but she refuses to take her out; I am tired of this, and feel like the dog should go to someone who is really going to be able to take care of her.
