i'm not really sure what's going on with you, but i have taken risperdal before. i think i was up to 6mg or so. i forget. i took mine at night before bed, but i experienced something similar to what you're saying. it was almost like i was dissociating after taking the drug. i was pretty out of it. difficult to focus, felt like i was floating and whatnot. it was strange to say the least. however, once i realized it wasn't working and that i was packing on weight, my doc switched me to abilify.

it's very likely the risperdal is making you feel like what you described. if it were me, i'd mention it to my doc and see what they say. they may switch you or lower the dose or something, especially if the symptoms bother you.
