As the expression goes, "don't cross the bridge until you get to it." And to use another trite expression, but one that gives good advice, "Take one day at a time!"

I suggest you apply to both and see what happens. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. If the job isn't what you want, then you can keep applying; some money is better than none at all, etc.
