I know I shouldn't self-diagnose, I am trying to get an appointment with a Psychiatrist, but I know that there is something wrong and I have some of the same traits/symptoms of BPD, which a very close friend suffers from, but on a more frequent turn around. Today for example, I have been fluctuating between between depressed and not depressed 5 times that I can count. Yet I haven't had a manic or high, yet I can relate to almost all of the post's in the forum.

I'm confused!?!
Many of us were self-diagnosed before it was official. Don't completely discount what you think. My suggestion is to continue to do your research and to talk to us. Think of it this way: therapists come up with their diagnosis through observation, and don't we know ourselves better than they? Continue to research and talk to us. If you seem at home, you probably are. That doesn't mean to not make it official, but you can starting learning and working on yourself NOW. Welcome!
Thanks for this!
