I'm worried for the cops too. Like maybe it's a trap to see if anyone falls for it.

We saw an ad on craigslist for a guy wanting a law student to do some legal work for him. It's against the law to practice law without a license, and this guy knew it too, because he was saying things like "your name won't appear anywhere on the paperwork" and "no one will know but the two of us." Just felt like a set up to me.

Even if it's legit, think how fast that 'escort' job could turn ugly. You might find yourself in jail for kidnapping. If you have to hire an 'escort' to get your son to the hospital, he doesn't want to go. You're not hiring them to protect your son. You're hiring them to keep him from running. If he runs and you give chase and catch him and drag him back ... ? And if you don't chase him, ... what were you being paid for? Maybe the whole deal is to trick the son into thinking he's in custody? That doesn't seem legal either. Or to persuade him to go to the hospital? If so, wouldn't a family member or mental health professional be a better choice?
