I am so frustrated that I can't just say something once, and not have to keep repeating myself. On another site, I've explained to someone several times now that even though I have a disability, I cannot get SSI. I used to be on it, but when I got married, I stopped qualifying because of my husband's income. That's the way SSI works. It is both need-based AND income-based. I've also stated repeatedly that I have insurance coverage, so I don't really need it anyway.

And yet she keeps asking me, through multitudes of misspellings, "But if you have a doctor's note saying you have a disability, you should be able to apply for it.... have you tried applying online?"

How much clearer can I make myself? I'm trying so hard not to say, either there or here, that she is unintelligent and not getting it. But I'm losing my patience saying the same thing over and over.
