I would be hesitant to ask for accomodations for anything like bpd. I mean if you frame it as though it has to do with noise an look for more isolation that might look better but even so, if you work in a cube farm, asking for special consideration for anything other than a physical ailment is going to start a buzz in your office. I'm not saying you don't deserve such things but the fact of life. I have a co worker, she has migraines and a problem with lighting. She tried to get us a separate office area that was more closed off (we work in the same group) but we couldn't even get that for her physical disability! And there are empty rooms here! o.O Anyway another thought is if you go out of your way to get accomodations, it might get you more attention than you want and that's the opposite of your goal. This is me speaking from experience, workign more than 20 years in offices with cube farms, just not typical to easily get special sections for much of anything aside from extreme physical disabilities that require it.

I would accomodate yourself by getting a set of headphones and ipod or phone to listen to music. Keep to yourself. I do.
