One of the issues with TMD and the MRI is that unless you use a high end, CLOSED MRI, it is NOT definitive enough for an oral surgeon to see what the problem might be (with regards to the jaw.)

I hope this is your problem.. as that you will have a solution or two to go with it.

Let the oral surgeon or specialist TMD orthodontist make your jaw splint, should they suggest one. The tiniest measurement off in the thickness or shape of the splint can make your bite and/or headaches worse.
