I couldn't sleep for more than 2-3 hours a night for almost 4 months straight. My MD tried Trazadone, Ambien, no results, but at that time he thought I was depressed, and I was on an antidepressant which made me more manic. He had to change my meds & I'm finally sleeping and feeling more sane

Maybe talk to your PDoc about adjusting your meds? Maybe even temporarily? Lots of people take Melatonin (supplement).

Nessa's right - I sometimes use a white noise app on my iPhone and other nights I use earplugs. I also started wearing an eye mask at night.

Other advice - no eating or exercise an hour or two before bed. (Although exercise earlier in the day can promote sleep). Maybe read? I like to read in bed before I fall asleep.

There should be some great tips & articles on the this site about getting better sleep.

I hope you get some rest! I can really empathize.
