I got some Vaseline, but it will only help the applicator go in...if the cotton enters a dry vagina where the cotton's supposed to go, it will still be hard to get in. Hopefully, though, it will help.

I used to be on birth control to avoid periods. The doctor had me have them every three or four months (still too much for me!). Now that I'm 45, I've been afraid to ask to go back on the bc, because of the risk of blood clots. Being obese puts me at a higher risk. But I'd love to stop my periods again! That was a pretty good time in my menstrual life.
