I didn't say it was a disease. Based on what I learned, homosexuality has been found to be the outward expression of subconscious (what your conscious mind is unaware of or doesn't recall). I read that homosexuals who sought therapy uncovered abuse that was prior to the therapy, unknown, and it was done with the help of a psychologist.
