I have been having horrid dreams since I was 11. 90% of my dreams are of the nightmare variety, but the 1 thing they all have in common?
I can NEVER scream/call for help. NEVER

My voice is instantly pathetically raspy or completely non-existant the moment I scream. Even if I was just talking right before the scream moment

Now most of my dreams being your garden variety of nightmare, they don't upset me so much anymore, EXCEPT these ones. Where I really really scream with all I got so that Jamie Lee Curtis would be proud, but not a damn sound exits my mouth, and I even wake up with a throat that feels raw from screaming my lungs out

And yes, just had another weird one, in fact so disturbing, I woke myself up to check if my voice was really gone!
