I totally do not get the fearmongering around vaccines - they're safe, and as someone born just before the advent of the modern vaccines, I can tell you childhood illnesses are no picnic. I had measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, and whopping cough. I can still remember how sick I was with the measles, lieling in a dark room with the curtains drawn because the light hurt my eyes, and my house being quarantined. I don't have children, but if I did they would certainly be vaccinated.
