True. I'm actually really glad I stumbled upon this thread because it's helping me get out of my crippling perfectionism and at least consider the possibility of getting behind the wheel again, soon. I have a longtime friend who just bought a manual-shift sports car and has offered to teach me how to drive manual and then to practice and log some hours that way.
