Hi Pegasister, thanks for telling us your dream, it sounds so detailed and interesting. If it were my dream, the first thing I noticed was the parallels (like ski's for example :-)

You have all women in the car, (your father walks away and doesn't come back), and your girl scout leader comes up and talks to your mom.

Your car is all packed and waiting and other cars come along packed like you are. You get out and there are two boys trying to get in a cooler.

Instead of skiing (which your packed car reminded you of) you are doing track and field, hurdling (a little like skiiing which is weaving in and out of flags instead of jumping over hurdles).

The garbage truck is constant and chasing. I don't know if you are working on your self-esteem or not? or have a problem with it and how you think of yourself? The Mexican is interesting. I once had a dream about Taiwanese business men :-) and my T was from that part of the world (the larger part of the dream was I was late on my way to my therapist's and got interrupted) but mostly, I'd seen a show the day before on TV about the Dragon Boat Festival in Taipei Frommer's Events - Event Guide: Taipei Dragon Boat Festival (Taiwan)

Why do you think you picked a Mexican to be in the dream? Have you been watching border patrol TV shows or something perhaps? Do actual Mexican men work in your neighborhood or have you friends who are Mexican?

That the young man was talking to the driver about his past. . . Again, maybe you think/feel your past is garbage? too, you had the two boys in the cooler and now you have the Mexican and young boy, paired with the garbage truck/driver; still all male (remember, you started all female).

At the end you have the Mexican man, the young man and the garage truck driver and then it's the pair of you, the young man and you, running and wondering what is going on and being a male/female pair, two halves of you. You weren't sure you'd make it yourself (as a female) but now, at the end of the dream you have two halves/are whole and still not caught/are making it.

Sounds like a wonderful "growth" dream, I'd think about the parts of for a long time!
