As far as I know, it didn't cause me many of the side effects. No seizures. However, I take other meds, so I don't know how they interact.

That said, I am having bad memory problems and was sent to a psychiatrist (not my own ) for evaluation. The results came back "mild cognitive impairment." That psychiatrist said the Clonazepam might be a factor. So, I am trying to get weaned off of it. I took it for (I think) at least ten years--at any rate, a long time.

I am having some withdrawal effects. My psychiatrist is aiming for getting me off taking 3 .5 mg pills a day over a six-month period. I am finding it to be more dangerous that way than I ever imagined when I was first prescribed it. I had no idea that my body would get so dependent on it.
