You sound just like me...except for the marital troubles; I'm not married. I've always wondered how other folks with BPD navigate the relationship waters when they have trouble making/keeping friends. I mean it, I've always been genuinely curious about that. I have so much trouble in the friend department that I can't imagine dating anyone let alone having a relationship with them.

Anyway. I don't know that I have advice for you except that you've come to the right place. Keep hanging around PC. There are some great people around here and this is a good place to post and get feedback (even though we don't always have feedback to give, it's a good place just to vent or chat).

As far as what nevergoodenough said, yes, I have heard that DBT is great. I have only gone to DBT group twice and had to drop out because I unfortunately cannot afford the insurance copay, so my therapist and I do a kind of modified DBT (nothing like the real thing) when I see her twice a month. I really should be going to see her more often, as twice a month is woefully inadequate for trying to treat BPD, but it's all I can do.

Anyway, welcome to PC.
