I have PCOS as well and have done quite a bit of reading on the matter. Weight loss and change in diet can help increase your odds quite a bit, but I've also seen other women with PCOS not change a thing and still get pregnant. Low carb diet is the way to go, as PCOS is closely associated with diabetes/pre diabetes. When insulin levels in the blood rise (such as with diabetes), it also causes an imbalance of our other hormones and can cause a rise in testosterone, resulting in abnormal/absent periods and an accumulation of cysts on our ovaries because we are not having our monthly cycle. Eating healthy and leading a healthier lifestyle can bring things back into balance and can increase your odds of getting pregnant.
