Well there was a period when I dumped on him too much. He's naturally an empathetic person and it stressed him out to worry about me so much. Also he knows I want more than friendship... He's a natural caretaker too so I think he's afraid of being overwhelmed and chooses to isolate himself rather than get overwhelmed, not just with me but with others as well.
