My T must wear quite a subtle perfume.. I'm not conscious of it while I'm in the room, but like you say, after we've hugged goodbye I find it sometimes clings to my clothes for a while, and I tend to catch a whiff of it on my drive home

Sometimes I wish I knew which perfume she does wear, as I think it might be comforting when she's not around (kind of like when I used to borrow books from her and the pages would be infused with the subtle scent of the office - again, not that I'd typically consciously notice the smell while I was there, but when I opened the books the smell would be familiar - a pleasant mixture of incense and other smells, perhaps her perfume) ... but I worry that it might seem creepy to ask?!
