This is actually exactly what I do! Everyone always comments on my perfumes - I have an intense collection (29 at the moment!) and apparently I always smell nice! I tend to have some for specific purposes, there is one I used to wear to T all the time (although now I wear it other places, I still vaguely associate it with T) but in the past almost year, I've switched to another 'T' perfume and I wear that exact same perfume to T every time now.

And I know she likes it, she bought the same one so now, I've taken to putting some on right before my T session, so I can smell it on myself and associate it with being safe in her office. I do not wear that perfume anywhere else (so I don't lose the association), but if I'm having a very very awful night, I'll spray it on my pillow before I go to sleep, or just spray a little so I can smell if it I'm feeling unsafe. Because my T's office is the safest place. And even though it's my perfume, it feels like it's hers. Besides the fact that it kind of is as well, since she bought it too when I told her what it was :S

So if I noticed another particular scent on my T, I think I would like it it wouldn't bother me! But I already have my scent that I know she liked a lot, enough to buy herself. And so it's my safety scent
