Seems like realistic goals... especially if your dad is seeing a difference.
The only other advice is get specific "coping" skills.... As in when X happens I need to First try A then B then C etc..
Next visit ask her to read outloud the notes from your first few sessions together.
Why do that you ask????
Well .. I got in a funk about 6 months ago and felt like I was walking in a circle in therapy ... SO my T said .. Ok time to revisit the past ... He pulled up the notes from my first visit , my 4th appt and my most recent session..
It was a huge eye opener , I was able to really see how much better I am.
Oh yeah and Therapy isn't suppost to be easy .. My T always says "if it's not hard work then we are doing it wrong"
