This is a terrible thing to happen to anyone. She obviously was not a TRUE friend to you. A true friend wouldn't even THINK of doing something like this.

Yes, you will get over this. But PLEASE don't let it harden your heart, or make you suspicious of people. Not very many people would pull such a nasty trick as this. Keep your heart and mind open to people -- generally, they're good.
