I have two nephews who were born a month apart. One was my brothers son, one my sisters. They were very close (still are). My sisters son was trouble from day one. He had a mean disposition. My brother's was trouble, but more in an impish way. When they were 19, my sisters son decided to counterfeit money. He printed a bunch and used it around town. He then brought the printer to my brother's house and showed his son. My brother's son talked him into ditching the printer, and they threw the printed money into the river. Well, of course the feds were on to them and were watching the houses. They took my sister's son into custudy relatively easily, but for some reason they thought my brother's son was the mastermind. They raided my brother's house. Held my brother down at gun point and beat his son fracturing his orbit. They pulled out light fixtures, cut holes in walls, broke dresser drawers and closet doors. My sister's son did time, my brother's son did not. So in the end he was proven innocent, but what a way to treat an innocent kid.
BTW: my brother's son is married with kids now, he's a great dad and hard worker. My sisters son is serving time for another drug related scheme he got into last year. To futher confuse things: my sister raised her kids as devout Christians, my brother was an alcoholic non-father.
