Well, it does sound like your doc is a bit presumptuous. Sure some people that are mentally ill have bad addictions, but not all of them...I know plenty who do not! And anyways, who isn't "mentally ill" these days! I hate being categorized as that. We all just have problems like everyone else.

I think you have every right to be upset about what your doc said. It's not cool that he couldn't take your word for it the first time...
