If not, I would suggest that you have your doctor either refer you to a good therapist, or get on some medication! You can't keep up this extreme high/low stuff. It will drive you insane!
Medication helps to even things out -- to stabilize you. The chemicals in our brain get out of whack and they need replacing by the medication. When we have a steady stream of these chemicals in our system it keeps us stable. Our moods don't go from extreme highs to pits so deep we can't get out.
Please talk to your doctor about this. I'm sure he can help you. And if you're already on medication, then it needs either changing or the dosage increased. But something isn't working! And if you're already in therapy, your therapist isn't doing something right! YOU can control your sessions and talk about what YOU want. If there are things YOU need to talk about, tell him.
I wish you the very best. Let us know what happens, ok? Hugs, Lee

Thanks so much for being there for me. Yes, I'm on Mirtazipine, Quitiapine, Effexor, Clonazepam, Lyrica and Zopiclone. I agree that my meds need adjusting. I hate feeling this way. When I check my diary I see that I have just about as many good days as bad. Will ask my psych doc to do something. I am diagnosed with chronic depression, GAD and social phobia. Will increasing the Mirtazipine, Quitiapine and/or Effexor help with anxiety? I know my doc doesn't want to have me on more Clonazepam. But I've started taking lots of Valerian to combat the anxiety.
Any suggestions are welcome.

to all.
