<font color=red>Heart palaptations is a normal symptom of anxiety, almost everyone who has ever had anxiety or a panic attack almost always get that. I also sometimes have had almost like chest pains. I also when i'm really anxiety ridden I get a tight chest.

The best way to deal with the palaptations is to do abdominal deep breathing, doing that will get it regular again. The more you worry about it the worse it will get.

If you expierence a tightness in the chest, open up your rib cage by pulling back your shoulder blades and breathing deeply, that will help.

Medication does help for anxiety symptoms, but not all of them .... that only helps so much. Whatever is making you anxious has to be faced otherwise it will never go away. I've been dealing with anxiety for 8 yrs and i'm basically anxiety and panic free....

Self help books help too.

I've also been sensitive to meds recently as well. The medications i've been on was Zoloft for 8 yrs, Celexa for 6 weeks (it wasn't working out even on a small dose, still felt like crap) now i'm currently on Remeron, and it's been doing wonderful things for me, mainly for depression, ptsd, but also for anxiety as well.
I've also been on tranqulizers, both lorazepam and clonazepam, but i've only taken them a couple of times in the past 8 yrs.
