Social work and psychology majors are rather similar, as I'm sure you know already. I recall hearing that it's much easier to get into social work programs than into psychology ~ but that was 10 years ago. Maybe that's changed since my time spent in college?? Have you looked into the differences between the undergraduate degrees? Would it be necessary for you to take courses that you haven't taken?

I hope that you hear back from the universities that you applied to very soon. We're only in April though, a little ways off from hearing about the Fall semester (which is when I assume that you'd be starting your new major), right? Try to be patient by focusing on the present. What can you do now to make your experience more manageable?
