I agree with many that everyone's experiences are different and it's just nice to be able to talk about them here and elsewhere, knowing you are not alone in some areas.

We might not share the same exact experiences but I have many times where I knew things I shouldn't and I felt things ahead of time...not with vague details but exact things.

I have an alter that is my spirit guide of sorts. She helps me sort through this but as you said, you don't feel you've split any so it might be a little different.
