There is I think a pretty good chance that they are real valium. I'm sure there are scammers out there online but some of these pharmacies are semi-legitimate. They actually do have doctors who review your info and make a decision to write you a prescription which the online pharmacy then fills. Hence the term semi-legitimate for lack of a better term.
I think the anxiety you feel is just a continuation of the anxiety you had already.

This history of substance abuse thing is erring on the side of being overly cautious. There is a woman I know who is an old friend of the family. She has chronic intense pain from diagnosed illnesses. Doctors won't prescribe the type of pain meds she needs for the same reason your doctor won't prescribe benzos. She has a history of alcoholism although she has been sober for many years. The woman is 64 years old. I find the attitude of her doctor ridiculous.
