I think your doctor needs to know, if for no other reason than to be able to help you faster and better if you're ever in a crisis. The hallucinations may not bother you now, but they have a way of turning on people later on down the road. I'm glad you understand that they aren't real, but at the same time, they are NOT a normal part of bipolar disorder.
