Hi ~ Talking to a counselor is a great idea. Usually counselors have their OWN office -- I don't think you have to go to the front office at all. Just go to the counselor's office and see about making an appointment (if you have to). Perhaps the counselor will talk to you right then!

Just talk to the counselor like you did to us here -- just be open and honest. The counselor will certainly understand about "culture shock" and the fact that coming to a much bigger school is going to effect you! It would bother ANYBODY!! I'm sure you're not alone. Other kids have had this happen too.

So don't be afraid to talk to the counselor. It will be kept confidential. And let us know how you're doing, after you've had a few sessions with the counselor, okay? We're really like to know. God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee
