You are absolutely right to think of the way women were treated in the past, because he's doing his own version of bad treatment now. Withdrawing communication for three days is trying to manipulate you, to punish you, to make you feel bad - and make you do what he wants in the future. If I were in your shoes, I would do it back, and not talk to him after the three days either. How dare he treat you this way? I am not going to mention the emotional blackmail over the webcam, or the comment of looking at other women.

He needs to reassess how he treats you, and you need to think too about if you are willing to be treated this way. He's not a nice man at the moment, sorry.
