The fact that you posted your message says that there is a large part of you that doesn't want to SI. Going on three days without it is a very good start even if it seems small.

Let me ask you this. If one of your friends came to you and told you that they were feeling really bad and were burning or cutting themselves, would you try to get them to stop, or would you encourage the behavior? Think of yourself as that other person.

There are medications that can help you control the urge to SI. The important thing is to break the cycle and find a better way of coping. You sound like a sensitive person, and that is not a bad thing. I know how hard it is to stop, I did it for years and years and............

Whether you want to believe it or not, you are a valuable person, and you don't deserve to punish yourself for things you did not do. On a peice of paper, make two columns. One for things you like about yourself and one for things you don't like. Be honest in both comumns or it won't do any good. Start working on the things you don't like. Just one at a time, and they don't have to be in order.
