Hey there my friend...yes social anxiety and I have been bitter sweet friends for a long time. I found that cognitive behavioral therapy is quite helpful. But I know what you are experiencing. You are not anti-social. Do not down yourself for having these symptoms. It is Ok to have them as unpleasant as they are. Learn about and find the appropriate help and I assure you, you will conquer it. Anxiety disorders aren't typically hard to treat especially if you find a good cognitive therapist who knows what he/she is doing. good luck
