OH, ok, hope Nation Inside can help! I really feel for you as I can identify with your emotions about your dad. I will pray for him that he gets grace and peace in his last years. My own dad although only held accountable for abusing me and my sister, was never held accountable for molesting hundreds of children over the years. He was not able to have feelings of empathy for those he wounded and was protected from accountability by my mother. Nonetheless, I prayed for him continuously for over 25 years that he would find grace and forgiveness for his sins. He did just 6 weeks before he died of a massive stroke at the age of 71. I am grateful to God for what he was able to do that man could not, although I had forgiven him.
