First of all, it's really good that you know that you have no option but to face it. Coincidentally, I'm actually going the exact same thing you're going through. sure, I may not be a professional at giving advice, but I sure do know how to help you with your struggles in life.
Recently, I actually felt very uncomfortable in school and just wanted to give up everything. But what I decided to do was talk to the school counselor. Doing this will most likely give you comfort because now you know that someone understands your struggles and can help you (trust me, it gave me a lot of comfort when i talked to my counselor).
In those phases of life, it is a battle between Confidence and Stress. Ask yourself, "what helps me gain confidence?" and once you find out the answer, try to gain as much confidence as you possibly can. One common way of removing stress is simply
Exercise! Exercising will keep your body healthy and keep your thinking positive, which is what you need.
Another important thing you should do is
Socialize! Socializing is as good as exercising but even better. If you don't have many friends, you should join a club and talk to the people around you. For example, if you like playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, try to talk to people who also like to play that game because you can easily communicate.
This is your life and your body. do you really want to give it up just because you're depressed? Go out there and make yourself a better person. Sure, we all struggle with depression, but most people choose to fight that struggle and just be happy with who they are, so why shouldn't you?
I really hope i helped. Tell me what happens when you decide to talk to the school counselor. And since I seem to be going through what you're going, we can possibly be good friends

you're not the only one out there, but it's you who has to take action and make good friends.
