It's like I'm day dreaming, but I do it in front of people and I don't realize I'm doing it until after i'm done doing it. I think about things like work, and how things will play out, but how can I stop talking to myself? what's wrong with me?

2) I cannot pay attention to anything in class for the life of me. I cannot pay attention when I read, I get side tracked easily, and I cannot remember anything short term. I walk into rooms and I forget why I'm there, and it's not like it happens a little, it happens a lot. It's like I'm loosing my mind.

Anything you think it could be?
Im sorry but we cant tell you what this could be in you. you see what you wrote it shared by hundreds, thousands and millions of physical and mental health diseases, disorders, problems...for example if you google cant pay attention in class, you will come up with over 130,000,000, if you google talking to myself you will get over 200,000,000 results..

let me show you what I mean...

lets take the talking problem...

talking aloud without realizing it, making facial expressions, feeling like in a dream can be ....having a stroke, terrette's syndrome, stuttering, cerebral palsy, MS, Parkensons, over stimulated muscles and nerves, reacting to hallucinations or delusions, ADHD, ADD, excited, medications, normal, and many many more ....

the same with the not being able to pay attention... it can be any number of mental and physical problems or something as simple as a learning disability, medications...

the best thing I can tell you is, if you really want to know what is going on inside you then contact a medical doctor or psychiatrist or therapist in your off line location... they can help you figure out what going on.
