I'm sure most people look up to their sponsors but she shouldn't be advising you to stop a medication because this is playing with fire. It might also sabotage your recovery too. Good thing she's only temporary and maybe you should also go above her ...explaining to her superior. Its a good idea to tell her you're not going to this and she can call your doctor. Tell your doctor what she said.

I hope hearing validation will calm your nerves. Take some slow deep breaths and keep doing whats best for you. A sponsor shouldn't be playing doctor. I hope you feel better soon and best of luck with your AA recovery.
