i was in a one sided relationship like this too. she was my best friend for about 7 years and although i knew so much about her problems & life, she never cared to listen to any of mine. & when i did get to talk, she would always interrupt me. eventually i cut all contact from her. it was a tough choice, because we had formed some bond over the years, but she just brought so much negativity into my life.

sometimes i think it's ok to be selfish.
